Your ApplianceIsn't Broken.It's Misunderstood
Same-day expert repair across Greater Boston — or we teach you what's actually wrong first.

Mike can tell a failing compressor from a bad start relay by the sound alone. He's pulled apart Frigidaire, LG, Samsung, and GE sealed systems in triple-deckers from Dorchester to Quincy.
Listen First
A healthy compressor hums at 60Hz. A clicking startup followed by silence = overload relay. We carry 40+ relay variants on the van.
Pressure Test
Sealed system pressure tells us if it's a refrigerant leak vs. a mechanical failure. Leak = $280–$420. Compressor swap = $380–$580.
Control Board Check
Modern fridges run inverter boards. A bad inverter mimics compressor failure. We test before condemning the compressor — saves you $200.

Dana memorized 300+ error codes across Samsung, Whirlpool, Bosch, and LG platforms. She built a lookup tool that cross-references symptoms to root causes — not just the code.
Read the Code
Samsung 5E? Could be drain pump, pressure sensor, or wiring harness. The code is a starting point, not a diagnosis. We go three levels deeper.
Isolate the Circuit
Control board failures account for only 12% of error codes. Most are mechanical — lid switches, door latches, pump impellers. We test the cheap parts first.
Drain & Inspect
A blocked drain filter causes 40% of F21/5E/OE codes. We clear it in 20 minutes. Parts: $0. Labor: one hour flat rate.

Chris has replaced 600+ thermal fuses and rebuilt more gas igniter assemblies than he can count. His decision tree for dryer no-heat calls is down to four questions.
The Four Questions
Does it tumble? Does it heat at all? Electric or gas? How old is the lint trap? Four answers narrow the fault to one of six components.
Thermal Fuse First
Thermal fuses fail when airflow is restricted. $18 part, 30 minutes labor. But if we don't fix the vent restriction, it blows again in 6 months. We fix both.
Gas vs. Electric
Gas dryer no-heat: 70% igniter, 20% gas valve coils, 10% thermal limiter. Electric: 60% heating element, 25% thermal fuse, 15% cycling thermostat.
We work on the appliances
your tenants actually own.
From 2006-era Whirlpool stacks in triple-deckers to brand-new Samsung French-door fridges — if it runs in a Boston kitchen or laundry room, we've seen it fail.

Real calls. Real fixes.
Real Boston kitchens.

"Mike showed up at 11am, had the compressor relay replaced by noon. Tenant didn't even lose the groceries. I manage 14 units — Diagnose is the only number I call."

"Dana figured out the 5E error was a clogged filter in ten minutes. My previous repair guy condemned the pump and quoted $380. She fixed it for $95. I felt like an idiot for not calling sooner."

"Fridge died the night before my daughter's birthday party. I called at 7pm, Chris was there at 8:30, fixed by 9:15. Cake survived. I've told every parent in her class."
We've already diagnosed it.
Now let's fix it.
Two vans, seven days a week. Same-day arrival in most of Greater Boston. We show up with the part 80% of the time — because we've seen this failure before.
